Alterna Osteo Is a soy or soya phytochemical composition with added calcium, which has been specially developed to help prevent the problems associated with the menopause in particular the brittle bone disease osteoporosis as well as hot flushes. It is a natural alternative to Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).
Alterna Osteo is different to most isoflavone and phytoestrogen products on the market in that it is composed not only of the desired amount of isoflavones but also contains all the other highly beneficial phytochemicals of the soyabean. Alterna OsteoCapsules contain the total soy phytochemicals in much the same way as present in whole soyabeans.
Alterna Osteo is in essence a natural food product made from an extract of the soyabean. The extract is a highly concentrated extract of all the soy phytochemicals in the same form and quantity as present in whole soyabeans with the exception that it does not contain soy storage proteins, oil and fibre.
Alterna Osteo comprises of soy constituents that are considered extremely beneficial for the maintenance of good health.
