Ever since mankind has walked the earth Natural fats and oils have been used for skin, health care and massage. Natural oils cannot be replaced with synrhetic oils extracted from petroleum such as vaseline and paraffin as they are not absorbed by the skin.
Vegetable oils and fats are readily absorbed by the skin and are used to nourish and give energy to the skin and body. Most vegetable oils contain vitamins which are necessary and good for the skin as they often stimulate the skin to function better and increase circulation. Vegetable oils and fats soften the skin and make it pliable, helping it to retain its own moisture more effectively.
Natural Vegetable Oils help the skin to function better and often resolve skin problems caused by irritation from detergents found in shower gels, shampoos and face washes as well as irritants from cosmetics and clothes.

Dr Taylor's Sleep Well Massage Oil
Dr Taylor's Massage Oils are made from a mixture of sweet almond oil, shea butter and grape seed oil with the addition of organic mood enhancing essential oils. Suitable for all skin types
Base Oils
Sweet Almond Oil
Sweet almond oil is one of the most popular massage oils its extracted from almonds. It is slightly oily, which allows hands to glide easily over skin. Sweet almond oil is absorbed fairly quickly, but not so quickly that you need to keep reapplying it.
Shea Butter
Extracted from the seeds of a tree native to Africa, shea butter is a solid at room temperature. Like cocoa butter, shea butter is heavy and can leave an oily feeling on skin if used on its own for massage. However in Dr Taylor's blend It gives a richness without being heavy or over oily.
Shea contains a natural latex, so people with latex allergies should do a patch test before using it.
Grape Seed Oil
In many respects, grapeseed oil makes a great massage oil. It has little-to-no odor, and it has a smooth, silky texture without being greasy.
